This policy describes how the FeedLock extension handles information. FeedLock is designed to work entirely on your device when you use reddit.com.

FeedLock does not send your personal data to us or to third-party servers. We do not collect your name, email address, account credentials, browsing history across the web, precise location, health or financial information, or the content of your messages.

Local storage on your device

The extension uses Chrome’s chrome.storage.local API to save data only on your computer, including:

This data stays in your browser profile and is not transmitted to FeedLock’s developers by the extension.

Site access

FeedLock runs only on Reddit pages that match the permissions shown in the extension’s listing (for example, https://www.reddit.com/*). It is used to show the on-page controls and to apply read and scroll features on those pages.

Third parties

FeedLock does not embed third-party analytics or advertising trackers as part of its extension code. Normal use of Reddit remains subject to Reddit’s own policies and terms.

Children

FeedLock does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Reddit’s own age requirements apply to use of Reddit.

Changes

We may update this policy if the extension’s behavior changes. The “Last updated” date below will change when it does.
